The position
As an IAM Migration Cloud Engineer at agap2, you take on the challenge within an international environment with a local focus. You will have the opportunity to work on various projects over the years, based on your experience and interests. Key Responsibilities
You will be a key contributor to the IAM Transformation Program, with a focus on migrating systems and applications from legacy Active Directory environments to Microsoft Entra ID. You will collaborate with both technical and business stakeholders to ensure secure, compliant, and seamless transitions to the cloud.
- Collect and aggregate system data from AD, Entra ID, Azure, ServiceNow, and IBM ISIM
- Map connected systems and services, identifying accounts for migration
- Analyze risks, role assignment impacts, and incompatibilities in the migration path
- Drive cleanup efforts for orphaned accounts and unused systems
- Develop migration lists by correlating data across AD, Azure, ISIM, and ServiceNow
- Collaborate with application and system owners to validate migration readiness
- Create technical playbooks for onboarding VMs, middleware, and databases to Entra
- Define post-migration operational guidelines and automate provisioning processes
- Provide hands-on technical support during system migrations
- Use scripting and automation (PowerShell, Azure tools) to streamline migration tasks
- Support privilege access migration using Azure PIM and CyberArk
- Contribute to knowledge sharing and documentation of best practices
What you bring to the position
- Minimum 3 years in system migration and data analysis (AD to Azure/Entra)
- Background in IAM solutions, role management, and application integration
- Familiarity with VM, middleware, and database migrations to cloud platforms
- Experience deploying migration runbooks and integrating with solutions like AVD, PAM, and Azure Bastion
- Strong experience with Active Directory (AD) and Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD
- Proficiency with Azure Resource Graph, PowerShell scripting, and ServiceNow (SNOW)
- Solid understanding of IBM ISIM, role-based provisioning, and system mapping
- Knowledge of Privileged Access Management (PAM) tools: Azure PIM, CyberArk
- Experience in system data correlation and building automation workflows
