Let me tell you about my project!

My name is Eduardo Assis da Silva and I’m a Consultant at agap2 Netherlands. In the past year I have been working on a project for a leading telecommunications company. The main aim of the project is to become the central source for telephone number information, where we answer the following challenges:

How to connect to a dialed number (routing)
What is the cheapest route to that number (pricing)
Best solution to obtain (acquisition) a number (porting)

In the process of helping the customer achieve its business and technical objectives, I have assisted in the development of a decoupled application as a Full Stack Developer.

Generally, my responsibilities involved the creation/evolution of microservices, integration and communication with existing systems and the development of User Interfaces (UI).

Our focus has been on microservices as it makes it possible to migrate the structure to the cloud. This brings advantages such as agility, flexible scaling, easy deployment, technological freedom, and resilience. All together this will give the product higher quality and productivity in its deliveries.

Being allocated to this project has helped me improve my decision-making and my ability to propose and design solutions, as we have the freedom to do so. This certainly increases the responsibility while I'm developing any given functionality or feature, however, this is one of the things I like the most about this project, as it keeps me feeling challenged and motivated.
