1. Can you introduce yourself?
My name is Maina, I am 35 years old, currently living in Utrecht together with my family. I’ve been born and raised in Utrecht as well, but my roots come from Indonesia (The Moluccan Islands).
2. How would you describe the role of a Business Manager?
I would say that the role of the Business Manager at agap2 is quite diverse, but also challenging. It is diverse, because my day to day business consist amongst others of business development, matching candidates with projects and managing existing consultants. Besides being diverse, it is challenging because you are always looking for opportunities in a highly competitive market.
3. Why should companies choose to work with agap2?
Agap2 is part of an organization that supports companies with their IT projects with approx. 8000+ of their own IT Consultants in a broad range of industries and technologies. With all that domain and IT knowledge we have the possibility to support them from the concept phase until the actual execution of the project. On top of that, with our relatively small management team in the Netherlands, we have the possibility to have a good/personal focus on what the needs are from our partners, and combine that with the right expertise.
4. What can a client expect from you (personally)?
I am the type of person that likes to think together with you on the long term. So a client can expect from me that they will always have someone who is available and open to have a discussion on the different challenges that their company is encountering. Of course, they can expect as well that these discussions will always lead to a solution that fits best for the company.
5. What do you enjoy the most about the past year of working at agap2?
The thing that I enjoyed the most working here at agap2, is the team. I noticed from the beginning when I started working here, that everyone has the same mindset and wants to achieve great results together. The result of this, is that we have good and bad days, but we always appreciate each other and keep on moving forward with a smile.
