How has your journey at agap2 been for the past 2 years? Can you share your thoughts on the projects, challenges, and achievements during this time?
After two years working at Agap2, I can say that it was a challenging time and learning as well. A time of personal and professional self-knowledge. Living in another country and not being able to communicate in your mother tongue can sometimes be intimidating, limiting and even frustrating. I had to reinvent myself but with resilience and hard work I realised that yes, I can do it!
During this period, I had the opportunity to work on two relevant projects, in large companies where I could contribute with technical solutions and insights to achieve the goals defined.
How would you describe the culture at agap2?
Agap2 offers a friendly environment, with respectful interactions among people. I see that teamwork is highly valued and people are always willing to help. There is also a sense of trust between company and employees which enables a really good work-life balance.
What are the most enjoyable things about living and working in the Netherlands?
This is a tough question as there are many things I really like about The Netherlands. The mindset, the work-life balance and so many other things, but if I can highlight one thing that I like better about The Netherlands is the way people can live freelly and be who they are, no matter their background.
What are your main priorities and areas of focus in the coming years?
In the coming years, my personal priority is to be more integrated into the country's culture. Professionally I would like to continue working on relevant projects that contribute to society and that also gives me opportunities to improve myself as software engineer and helps me to take a step to the next level in my career.
